Third Party Liability Pet Insurance

Thursday, March 31st, 2005

Third Party Insurance is generally for vicious dogs. Few policies often will provide coverage for cats however, the policy is rare, since cats often pose no threats. The third party will provide liability coverage to owners whose animal has caused harm, either by biting or damaging property. The damage or injures will include coverage for animal attack on other animals. Thus, pet coverage is the standard coverage allotted to pet owners, while third party is a secondary coverage to owners of aggressive dogs. Like many types of insurance, the policy will reimburse owners if they are found liable due to animal attack. The process of reimbursement is similar to other types of coverage, only you are submitting the claim, summons, insurance policy number, writs, police reports, and other documents imposed as a result of the attack.

Once the company receives your claim, the company will make contact with you providing additional instructions if applicable. The policy will cover you if your dog attacked an (more...)

Self-employed Individuals - Are You Writing Off Your Health Insurance?

Wednesday, March 30th, 2005

Being self-employed offers freedoms that traditional jobs usually can t match. Self-employed individuals can work from home, set their own hours, and be their own bosses. They can choose their own work assignments, provide the services they want to provide, and even choose their own wages.

Yes, self-employed individuals are living the life - until it comes to health insurance, that is.

Most self-employed individuals, or individuals who work as independent contractors for a particular company, have to purchase their own health insurance policies. Without a traditional employer, there s no one to offer a health insurance package, right? So, self-employed individuals either purchase an individual health insurance policy, or they pay for the cost of health care completely out of their own pockets. For some, this seems like a pretty even trade for others, it doesn t. Health insurance is a perk of many career choices, after all.

But, for all self-employed individuals, or individuals w (more...)

Here is a Great Idea…Think Outside the Box!

Wednesday, March 30th, 2005

Consider doing what the movie stars do. Hire a publicist. If you think that movie starts are the only people then you are wrong. Lots of people do this and for a good reason. It is good business.

Professional athletes, novelists, physicians, marketing organizations, corporations etc., they all use publicists. To you this may seem way out of the normal methods for doing business, but in fact it is very mainstream. Getting your name out there is just advertising and nothing more. If you run an advertisement in the newspaper or pay (costly) for the yellow pages isn t that just using a publicist in a different manner?

I know what you are all thinking, am I kidding you? No, this is a very legitimate and bona fide method of advertising. I have done it myself and it produced enormous results. In many ways it really launched me to the next level.

I signed a three month contact to be represented by a publicist the cost was $5,000.

Her job was to get me speaking jobs for local (more...)

Choose The Right Insurance For Your Boat

Tuesday, March 29th, 2005

If you are out on the water, then you are there to relax. There is nothing like boating to blow your cares away and allow you to get a little closer to absolute bliss. Unfortunately, there is nothing like a boating accident to bring all of those worries and cares to the forefront of your mind, and add to them as well. Boating insurance is supposed to make your time on the water less stressful and any accidents that you might suffer less impactful on your life.

A good boating insurance policy covers liability, collision, and damage by vandalism. The coverage itself will vary with the type of watercraft that you own and operate, but all of the policies are intended to help you get underway without fear.

Protection of your boat usually covers damage to the hull, sails, machinery, furniture, and most other equipment that is used in the normal operation of your boat. If your docking procedure is short a buoy or two and your hull is a casualty, your insurance company will cover the da (more...)
