Affordable Health Insurance - Educate Yourself About HMO’s & PPO’s And You Can Save Big

Tuesday, March 28th, 2006

Affordable health insurance is rapidly becoming a thing of the past here in the USA. Unfortunately, the rising health costs have forced many employers to stop offering benefits to their workers because they simply can t afford to pay for it any longer. This has left many individuals and families scrambling to try and find some type of health care plan to protect themselves in the event of a medical emergency. Tuesday, March 28th, 2006

The best way to get a term life insurance policy with no medical exam is to search for, get a quote for, and virtually purchase the policy online. While the process seems simple thanks to the Internet, getting a “no exam” term life insurance policy isn t always what it s cracked up to be.

Life insurance companies require medical exams because they want to know what they re up against. However, having a blemish or two on your medical exam (having smoked within the last few years, having high blood pressure, having high cholesterol, being overweight) doesn t necessarily mean you re going to be denied. It may just mean your premiums will be a bit higher than if you didn t smoke and had no current health conditions.

In this article we will discover some of the advantages offered by the POS plan.

You will be required to choose a primary care physician (PCP) just like an HMO plan. The plan consists of a provider network and you have to choose your PCP within that network. If the doctor you want to choose is not listed there you might have to change you mind or choose another healthcare insurance plan. The PCP will become your point of service. If you need to see a specialist or another physician that is outside the network, your PCP will have to make referrals. Without a referral the (more...)
