What Type of Car Do You Have?

One of the main factors that may determine how much auto insurance coverage you really need is the type of car that you have. Almost everyone, by law, is required to have at least liability auto insurance coverage. If you have a car which is financed, however, you are probably required to have collision insurance coverage on your car also. If you are not required for you for some reason, it is definitely something that you will want to get. Do you really need collision auto insurance coverage if your car is not financed though? Well, one of the main things that you should consider is whether or not your car is actually worth spending the amount of money that collision will require. For example, if your car is only valued at $2,000 and it will cost you $3,000 a year to have collision coverage, you will probably not want to waste your money.
